.....Im sitting at work its really really quiet, I havent got anything to do and ive even worn out the internet if thats at all possible. So I was talking ot my colleague whos is also bored and we were discussing Twitter. I signed up for an account ages ago basically to see what it was and she says she had also. We cant find any real use for it, what is the point of Twitter?
I dont understand why anybody would want to know that I was eating a Pot Noodle or doing something equally mundane. I mean I know I write about mundane things in this blog but its different somehow but I dont see the point in one sentence blogs stating things like "my cat just coughed up a hairball" who cares?
Maybe im missing the point of it, I dunno.
....I got my Open University result for my first course AA100 The arts past and present. I got 81 and they gave me a distinction! im super happy.
Oh and my courese materials for next year are out with a courier today to be delivered. Im super nervous im scared to open the box.

.....Halifax Bank. Well I closed my old current account today with the Halifax bank because I was so disgruntled by their new policy on overdraft fees. So I walked and today I closed my accounts with them. I feel much better.
I am however feeling a little bad today I dunno why, still strugglign to get my mandolin tuned and I think I need the bridge adjusting ot lower the action but I dont feel confident doing it myself.
.....Ive pretty much done my Christmas shopping. I went into Thorntons yesterday to get a box of alcoholic chocolate truffles for my grandad because I cant think of anything else to get him and the lad behind the counter checked to see if I looked over 16, im 35 for gods sake! I know I have a youthful complexion *grins* but I dont look that young.
Looking forward to an hour away then im finished for the weekend, hurrah!
......I played it last night I started my book and hope to start lessons in January from a friend of a friend. Just need to get a nice strap for it as my guitar strap doesnt fit the peg at the bottom.
*does happy dance* I got my mandolin, he threw in a book and some pitch pipes and some strings and stuff. Its really cute!
........todays the day I get my mandolin. Im off to see if I can swap my guitar for a nice mandolin. Im just hopeless at trading and i dont want to be swizzed, im taking my friend for moral support. Ill let you know how I get on.
......I know in my heart that its on ebay for the right price, but it hasnt sold and I thougth for sure that it would what with crimbo coming and all. Anyhow I have contacted a music shop (a good one that sells nice stuff) thats in Derby and asked them if this any chance of them being interested in buying my guitar in a view to me instead buying a mandolin off them.
After I told them what guitar I had they said that they were, it all depends on what they are willing to offer for my guitar and what mandolins they have available, Im going tommorrow afternoon to see what happens. I really want a mandolin what with some holidays coming up soon it would be a good thing to keep my mind and fingers occupied.
